Fresh oranges to make juice, hams cheeses, etc. I also loved the breakfast basket in the morning. So thoughtful. The room is big, plenty of space to be comfortable. If I go back to the Douro valley one day, that's where I want to stay.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens and towels were high quality. In the space there was a full kitchen with courtesy coffee, water, and even some cereal. What a thoughtful detail! The location was perfect in the center of Vila Real. Our communication with the owner Paulo was fluid and he was so helpful, allowing us to check in early. He's really put in a lot of work to this property, and has thoughtfully designed it to reflect the history of the Portuguese Postal Service and the historic building it is located in. I would definitely stay again if ever in Vila Real.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He was always available to answer any questions we had. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Everything was fine for us, we will definitely come back for a longer stay!

Great location, easily walkable to most local attractions. Contemporary in design, lovely decor. Met promptly as we were not able to receive check in messages. This was no fault of the owner. Lovely breakfast lots of choice. Highly recommend.
