We have travelled a lot in the past years, but we can definitely say that Pam and Dean’s bnb is one of the best where we have ever stayed. thank you very much!

We got welcomed with fresh papayas and avocados from the garden. The property is very nice and for us in the perfect location as we were not looking for the touristy sites. Close to fantastic snorkeling spots!

The B&B is in a fantastic location, a very quick walk into town, but with the ocean literally on your doorstep. Our beautiful room backed right on the ocean and it was wonderful going to sleep with the sounds of waves. Every morning the cooked breakfast was delicious, and we really appreciated the useful shelves in the B&B filled with snacks, useful pamphlets, bug spray and sunscreen. Our hosts were very friendly and gave fantastic recommendations on things to see and do during our stay in Hilo. We would highly recommend a stay here!

Rooms also offer mini refrigerators, microwaves, and kitchenettes. The Ocean View Suite was very, very pretty, it was super clean, we had lots of room and there was everything what you need including a small kitchen with a fridge inside the room but also a bigger kitchen for everyone. We had a very nice stay here and would definitely come back. Also the bathroom and the bed and everything else had a very high standard and in total this was the best stay we had in Hawaii. The place is beautiful, authentic, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything you might need during your stay. We have stayed in great hotels all over the world, but the cleanliness of this place is outstanding, everything is absolutely spotless. The garden with the river and waterfall at the back with the wildlife is heaven on earth helping you to disconnect and recharge. Oh, and let’s not forget about how wonderful, diverse and delicious the breakfast was, freshly prepared every morning, including fruit bowls from fruits from the garden, muffins and banana bread also baked in the morning for the guests exclusively. The owners Lory and Stuart, and the lovely Kalā took great care of us. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience in Hawaii, make sure to book this place asap! We will definitely return! Hawaiian Ohana Home features free WiFi . A flat-screen TV is provided. I had a great stay. Diana was very friendly and accommodating. I had everything I needed, was even served a meal during my stay. I was in the smallest room (single bed) but it was comfortable and I made use of the common area upstairs none of the other guests were using. It was a lovely area to stay in, I did lots of hiking around different areas of Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. It was also very affordable compared to surrounding options - excellent value for money.

We had the pleasure of meeting Ricky and his family. Ricky and Irina are born hosts, with the right touch of humor. Breakfast was a real treat every day. Ricky is a very good chef. We were also able to benefit from the best insider tips. This enabled us to explore Kona perfectly. Our time with Ricky was great. Should we return to Kona, we will definitely book the Hale Hualalai and maybe have a drum session with Ricky :)
