The place is perfect for relaxing, peaceful and away from the busy tourist areas, which gave me the chance to enjoy a more authentic and local experience. I had the best time here and would absolutely recommend staying if you're looking for comfort, warmth, and a genuine atmosphere.

They maintained it quite well. The staff Abrath and Zakhia always made sure that we were comfortable. We had one of our tastiest Kahwa from there. The view is yet another beautiful thing. The houseboat is located away from all the chaos. They made sure we had an amazing experience in Kashmir. and suggested every activity and place to visit in detail. and also helped with bargaining shikara ride and arranging it on time.It was our first day in srinagar and it turned out to be a beautiful experience because of them.

We stayed for 2 nights at Going Palace houseboat. It is a deluxe houseboat with intricately decorated. Rooms were nice and clean. The bathrooms were very clean. The facilities in the houseboat were very good. The staff - Wasim, Same er and Sams were very friendly and catered to all our requests.. The food was very homely and tasty. The houseboat location is also great with very good views and away from the sounds of the main road but not far from gate 12. Mr. Goona took special care that we are ok. Overall a very pleasant stay and highly recommended.

They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The delicious home-cooked Kashmiri meals were another delightful touch, offering an authentic taste of local cuisine. The location of the house boat is ideal. A short boat ride of a few minutes away from the main street and included in the price. Most houseboats charge for crossings. It is located at the end of the first row of house boats, giving you a wonderful uninterrupted view of the whole lake from your bedroom. The house boat is surrounded by beautiful waterlilies and looks stunning. Everything was very clean and we felt very safe. Abrahim is a wonderful host, who made our experience in Srinagar memorable. He helped us plan our days and even organised a driver for us for our next leg of our journey to Leh! We really felt at home from the minute we arrived and Abrahim was available whenever we needed him. Breakfast was included, and really set us up for the day. We ate on the houseboat varanda, cooked with Kashmiri love accompanied by Kashmiri tea - another highlight. Thank you for making us feel like family, Abrahim!
