We had a lovely stay at Domaine des Maillets. We stopped for 2 nights for a rest on our journey driving to Spain. It was perfect for us as a family of 5 as we could all stay in 1 room and it was really spacious. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The location is peaceful with lovely rural views. Our children loved the hot tub and games room and our youngest made friends with our host's sheep. There is also badminton and a selection of games in the room. Breakfast was French style and a real treat with amazing home-made gateaux and crepes. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful with excellent communication and lots of advice on places to visit. The village has a bakery and small shop and is nice for an evening stroll. The surrounding countryside is pretty with some beautiful rivers and gorges. We would definitely stay again next time we are heading South. Merci beaucoup Milaine et Thierry

The positive reviews I had read before booking this property were true. The hostess is really nice and completely available to help. The studio is absolutely spotless, there is everything one needs to cook. And despite the house being on the main road, it is really quiet. I would highly recommend this location as a great stopover on a long trip, like the one we did, between Germany and the South-West of France ;).
