Ann, our host, was very welcoming and we communicated very well with our pigeon French and her pigeon English. The property is very homely and is located in a small village south of Dijon. Our room/s were in a self contained upstairs area with our own private bathroom. There were two double rooms and additional bunkbeds plus a cot for a baby. It had a small kitchen area where coffee etc was provided. We had access to Netflix which was lovely after our long drive as we just wanted to chill. Breakfast was superb!!! Home made yoghurt, fresh fruit, pain au chocolate and fresh bread with every possible spread you could wish for.

Amazing host. Excellent for children and a dog. Lovely farm. We ordered a BBQ on the first day and it was really nice. Breakfast was excellent.

The very helpful owner was excellent, opening up for our very late arrival. The location and facilities (4bed room) were perfect for us on our way to a skiing holiday.

We were warmly welcomed by Catherine and Bertrand. They immediately lit a fire, offered us a drink, and invited us to sit and chat for a while. Throughout our stay, we loved walking the grounds, learning about the chateau's history, and plans for further restoration. Breakfasts were fresh orange juice, yogurt, pastries, breads, and homemade jams. The drive to Dijon was easy (and parking in the city center was affordable). For our second day, Bertrand made us a map with suggestions of villages to stop in--sights we would have never found on our own for sure! As is, the stay is not luxury per se, but it was such a lovely experience. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

The Most Incredible place to visit, a real live castle. It was more than we expected, full of history, cosiness and heart from owners that offer the opportunity to share their amazing heritage, walk, touch and feel 300 years of history. We recommend to plan some time at the place, this is not only an accommodation, but a truly unique experience. Host, part of the family, is very approachable, kind and sharing, also a great cook. Merci pour le poivron :) despite the age of the castle, the room and amenities were excellent.
