The host had thought of everything like e.g. automatic lights so if you get up in the middle of the night, you don't stumble into the furniture. Lots of Extras like a BBQ and wood burning fire which really got the place toasty warm.

The complete charm of the Hameau. The host was extremely friendly sourcing fresh bread and croissants for breakfast which was all delicious especially the apple juice! The room is full of antiques .The bed is comfortable and the bed linen is lovely.

Our family with three young children really enjoyed the stay, the house is lovely with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and lots of space in the living area. We loved spending time in the swimming pool, the kids could play in the large garden, and feed the donkeys and chickens. The family are very friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, the setting sun over the forest, plenty of hot water from the air source heat pump, the tranquil setting, the games room, the cosy wood stove for cooler evenings, the Wednesday morning market and independent shops in Carrouges. Outdoor seating thoughtfully placed to make the most of both the morning and afternoon sun. The location was a perfect base for us to travel to other parts of Orne and also into Mayenne. Helpful and informative hosts. A very definite sense of feeling 'at home'!
