The central location was also walking distance to our family members who live in Bearsden and across the street from the train station with easy access to Glasgow and Edinburgh. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and it was very nice to have off street parking.

The purpose of our trip was for a family funeral. The house is lovely and in a very peaceful and quiet location in Milngavie. The house was freezing cold when we checked in and remained that way for 4 days. The property owner was unavailable the whole visit which was 7 days. Finally the management company who was overseeing the property sent out a technician to look at the thermostat which he eventually disconnected so we either had heat on or off. I asked through booking.com that we receive compensation for our visit and have not heard back from anyone. We returned home 3 days ago and no response to date. It made a very difficult time for our family even worse. On a couple of occasions it was 9 degrees in the house. The other issue was that there was no instructions on how to operate any of the appliances or anything else in the house.
