Magdalene was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful and had a wonderful personal touch. The wooden cabins were outstanding- built by master craftsmen in European spruce, they were beautiful, functional, warm and fragrant. The small village is off the beaten track and is quiet and quaint with great walking trails on your doorstep. The rooms are located right next to the Pandy Inn which has a lovely pub and serves good food. This was one of the best stays we experienced during our tour of the UK!

Hosts Angela and Duncan (even Buster/Quince the Alsatian) were very welcoming and friendly and once we'd chatted just left us to get on with it. We were fortunate with the weather so had a wonderful view of the valley as far as the eye could see - and if you couldn't they even had a small pair of binoculars in the Hut for guests to use. Can also recommend the Pandy Pub down the road for good food and friendly atmosphere. Chickens made us chuckle and their eggs were tasty too !
