We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cottiscarth Cottages. Robbie and Eileen were incredibly welcoming and accommodating of our travel plans, and the location of the cottage is stunning! The cottage is large, roomy and proved to be very sturdy during gale force winds. Despite 6 inches of snow we were able to get out of the driveway. The host thought of everything.

Wow - everything was near perfect for our stay. Beautiful accommodations from the view and large window, to the comfortable bed, very nice bathroom, the thoughtful snacks and drinks left in our refrigerator, the simple breakfast before we started our day. So many sweet details covered, very hospitable and friendly host, an amazing shower downstairs for those who need a shower instead of using the huge jet tub in the attached bathroom, even laundry facilities.

This apartment is a real gem, beautifully decorated, extremely well equipped and so comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and would have loved to stay longer and take advantage of this fantastic place with its beautiful garden. We were here for 5 days and it made a great base for exploring Orkney Mainland. Good sized duplex with a large living room. Comfortable bed, bedroom was a little small but we put one suitcase in the other bedroom and that worked fine Wifi worked great, Kitchen well stocked.
