Extremly nice Glamping Pod. You get everything you need in a wonderful decorated and quite new small and cosy cabin. the owener is a wonderful man and extremly helpful. The location is THE perfect start for your walk on the West Highland Way. Located just outside of Milngavie you have easy access to the starting point. If you come by bus, ask the driver to let you get off right at the reception or get a taxi at the train station (where the bus stops too). I can recommend that place warmly to everyone.

It was clean and beautifully furnished with everything you needed, right in the middle of town and 2 minutes from the station.

The purpose of our trip was for a family funeral. The house is lovely and in a very peaceful and quiet location in Milngavie. The house was freezing cold when we checked in and remained that way for 4 days. The property owner was unavailable the whole visit which was 7 days. Finally the management company who was overseeing the property sent out a technician to look at the thermostat which he eventually disconnected so we either had heat on or off. I asked through booking.com that we receive compensation for our visit and have not heard back from anyone. We returned home 3 days ago and no response to date. It made a very difficult time for our family even worse. On a couple of occasions it was 9 degrees in the house. The other issue was that there was no instructions on how to operate any of the appliances or anything else in the house.

We made a mistake and ordered "Stan Pitch". Booking.com listing showed that it should contain a larger bed for two and three smaller single beds. We assumed from that that we are booking an already standing tent (even photos showed one). We were very surprised that we have in fact booked only an empty place for our own tent. The owner was howevet great and gave us a room in tent without charging us anything extra.
