We had such a lovely stay. The facilities at the cabin are great and the location is just stunning, the views are amazing and fab from the hot tub! Bonus in that we had newborn lambs arriving each morning we woke up!

The hosts were super nice an helpful. I booked the hut for Dads my birthday an they brought over homemade cake an put up balloons. The Shepherds Hut is beautifully decorated an very clean an cosy.

Accommodation was lovely , clean ,comfortable , everything you would need , large lounge , large kitchen , large dining room , games room , there were 9 of us and it didn't feel crowded . A welcome pack also . would book again.

We were in Rose cottage during the storm and had quite an eventful time there. Due to the storm there was a powercut that lasted more than 30 hours! But our landlady Lynda did all she could to make our stay agreeable. She brought us a gas stove so that we could make some tea, torches, candles, etc. She dried our clothes and shoes as she had a wood stove in her own house. We feel that if a landlady shows so much concern for her guests, she is worth a 10 and more!

The location was very close to an area my wife and I had not visited together. We enjoyed trips to Rye, Hastings, Battle Abbey. the Kent and East Sussex Railway to Bodiam Castle, the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway, Camber sands, and Winchelsea. All of these places were within 40 minutes of the property, and most were a great deal less. The accommodation proved to be very comfortable and warm, with access to a paddock so our dog could have a good run in the mornings. Parking was excellent, with easy access from the road. The village has a nearby shop for all essential items.
