The location is perfect. The distance from several wonderful beaches, is really short. The village is really nice to stroll around also there is a beautiful taverna with delicious traditional food. Unfortunately 55 bar, was closed during our stay, though visiting 55 bar, is a good reason to go back! Regarding the house, it is the most carefully designed and decorated house I have ever visited. You can not find even a tiny corner that has not been carefully designed and decorated! It is definately the place to be. I highly recommend it !

If the property doesn't really have to be placed directly by the sea, this place is for you. If you want to escape from the city noise, it is for you. if you want to chill out on the terrace in the late evening with a glass of wine and be amazed with starry sky, it is for you. if You want to wake up and have fantastic view over the valley ended with the sea, it is for You.(pictures of the property in this offer are real, especially view from the windows) If you want to feel substitute of former cretan living, it is for you. I could tell you about this place for long, long time, but... It's better to come here and experience all the beauty of this place by yourself!!!🙂It was my third time on Crete island and this was the best place I stayed. And it is hard to imagine a better place for holidays for me, despite it isn't directly by the sea. The cottage is located in partly abandoned, mountain village. Due to the location(10-15min.from the coast by car) it is strongly recomended to rent a car!!!(unless, you prepare to Ironman🙂). The cottage has all the equipment you need(even dishwasher)!!! Ok, there is no wi-fi, but mobile network coverage is rather ok. There is also a small alectric cooker with two spots, so I'd advice to eat outside(who wants to stay in kitchen durring holidays, by the way?).We we're there in 4 persons(couple with a teenager and our friend) and it was great. There are two double beded bedrooms, one of them has an additional folding bed.There is also a folding sofa in a small, but cute living room with fireplace(!). Bathroom contains everthing you need(ladies, you don't have to bring hair dryer, it waits here for you).The property has two terraces on the first floor and two shaded patios on the ground floor(perfect for breakfasts). The host of the property, Sofia is very, very kind, warm and totally welcoming person😍. She will help you with everything, the same I can say about Simon, the owner of the cottage.

The pool is stunning and the location very quiet and away from tourists. The beach and restaurants are mainly locals. Although, be ready to drive an hour to see the main attractions in the area. The hosts and staff were very helpful and nice. They even did our laundry for free!

Excellent! I stayed here for almost two weeks. It’s a lovely Guest house surrounded by nature yet very close to the beach. I was working online throughout my stay including long Zoom hours and the WiFi was great. I had a private little kitchen with all that you need. Mirion and his staff are great! And Rex the dog greets you whenever you return. Thank you for a lovely stay

Beautiful house - tastefully and charmingly decorated, lovely balcony with a view of the mountains. It was cold at night so we used the fireplace and it was excellent having a supply of wood. Very well situated for hiking up Stavronemos peak from Thripti, wonderful walks towards Kavousi inc Mesonas Gorge, and visiting Gournia site. We used our kitchen because none of the restaurants in town were open.

Lovely little Villa in its own garden. A nice quiet area with great views. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Also with a great outdoor kitchen and seating area.
