This is the 3rd time we visited Kato Zakros and although we were always very happy with our previous stays, Yiannis retreat was exeptional! Surrounded in a beautiful garden and being spoilt with fresh fruit, cake and biscuits(every day!!) we can't think of a better place to stay. Maria and Katerina are fantastic!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay,amazing view's from the property terrace. the studio was very well equipped everything you could want was there .The studio was spotlessly clean,good size shower/toilet room and the quality and level of equipment throughout was of a very high standard. Our host Georgia was lovely nothing was too much trouble for her,she even helped a couple who arrived looking for somewhere to stay last minute even though she was out with her friends. Can't wait to return.

The accommodation is simply wonderful. Very lovingly furnished with everything you need. We were surprised on arrival with raki, wine and food in the fridge. It is wonderfully quiet and only a short walk to the beach, tavernas and the entrance to the gorge. That the bathroom was separately around the corner did not bother us at all. It was even very charming. The location is just perfect. It was simply dreamlike. We will be very happy to come back.

What a beautiful place! We we wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment is up on the hill with a beautiful view out to sea and just a short walk down the hill to the front where there's some nice restaurants. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need to cook proper meals. WiFi was good. Marianna was really lovely and met us to show us the apartment and gave us some olive oil and biscuits when we arrived. We definitely want to come back.

It's a delightful apartment, comfortable, handsome, nicely plumbed, opening onto a terrace absolutely on the beach. And the hamlet of Káto Zákros is the end of the line, the edge of Europe -- you stare out over the beach, the bay, the sea beyond, then to Asia far away. Because the pebbles in the sea are small and not smooth, the drop's quite steep, the swell very gentle, the noise of seafall is dry and crackling, like champagne being poured. That's the only sound all night, and the only sound in the morning except for a bit of birdsong. Nikos couldn't have been more welcoming. Astonishing value for money. Wish I could have stayed longer. Part of me simply wants to *live* there.
