Extremely kind hosts. Well located house with nice terrace looking directly at the bay and the port. We spent each evening there looking at the boats entering the harbor. Very peaceful village with some surprisingly good restaurants.

The property was how I dreamed about it, and even more :) In a hidden fishing village around a small bay, not crowded. The small house is right at the shore, with own private beach and a kayak for two which we could not get bored with. It has two kitchens, one is outside in the big, covered, comfortable terrace where we basically lived, only moved into the house at night. The house is equipped with basically everything you can think of. The village is silent after 10 pm, only the seagulls are making some funny noise. Lot of locals live there, not only tourists which makes you feel at home. All three of us loved to live there and we did not want to leave at all. There are nice places to visit on the island but it is also great that you can visit Dubrovnik by ship, without parking issues, look around for a day and come back to peacefulness. The host was away but a local gentleman met us there and was very kind and helpful. Before we arrived I asked if they had an oven, and by the time we arrived they bought one!!

Fully equipped house right on the crystal clear water in what is probably the most beautiful bay on Mljet. We spend a week and could easily have stayed longer. You need a car if you are not planning on eating out every night since there is no supermarket in Okuklje. There are four restaurants and the one next door (Konoba Maestral) is just amazing. Great hosts – arrival and departure was very easy.

The location is splendid. Quiet,small village on seashore,with no traffic. The host is extraordinary polite,they run a small restaurant and the food is fresh and very tastefull. Apartment is cosy,clean,everything is tidy,and there is a balcony where you can lay back and enjoy.
