johnny so accommodating and helpful. i was traveling alone for family reunion in montiscagliosa. he took me to town and when possible met me in town and i followed him back. i felt safe even though facility was far away from town central. the remoteness of the farm was so charming. but if i didnt have escort not ideal for solo senior traveler. the streets close for the festival of st rocco and i had difficulty returning to hotel during some nights there. pool fantastic in 96 degree temperature.so close to Matera and when festival was over much easier to travel to town central and find parking . You need a car. they even had gluten free bread for me for breakfast and delicious coffee.

Excellent B&B, everything was superb. Our room was very clean and well-equipped, with a nice balcony overlooking the farm. Probably the best part of our stay was the breakfast, with everything fresh and eggs from the farm. The host is amazing. We stayed here and visited Matera for the whole day. We could only stay one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer.

Plenty of storage and natural light, well insulated with new windows and mechanical shutters ensured a peaceful and dark night. Its very clean and well located. Perfect for long or short stays. Casa Pati was an excellent find. We were there for a long week-end in January. we used the house as bae to start to discover Basilicata. The house is as indicated in the pictures, very clean and situated in the new part of a little Basilicata town, this is a plus in case you arrive by car, because it gives you free parking lots just steps from the home. Anna was very helpful, both with indications about the house and surroundings. we also had some issues with the internet connection and Anna was very quick in talking with the internet provider and solving the issue. All together, it was an excellent trip and Casa Pati was a very good base for it.
