The breakfast at Il Giardino delle Meraviglie is outstanding. It is served on the patio under canvas canopies under the beautiful blue sky and warm sun. The food choices are never-ending, ranging from fruit and yogurt to local meats, cheeses, bruschetta, eggs, bacon, bread with olive oil and herbs, all kinds of cheese, fruit, jelly, and chocolate-filled sweet treats, and often a much welcome surprise --granita! Where else can you go and get ice cream for breakfast! And there is Francesca's cappuccino--Numero Uno, for sure. The staff is so helpful and gracious, everyone pitching into make sure the guests have a breakfast experience to remember. The location and the grounds are amazing. It has become Il Mio Paradiso (my paradise). The apartment I stayed in is on the third floor (Apartment Etna) and has a perfect view of the Sea, which is just a stone's throw away, from the smaller bedroom and from the spacious terrazza. There are plants, trees, flowers, and herbs of every kind and color on the grounds, along with two ponds with colorful fish. Animals are in abundance--a horse, pony, donkey, doves, turtles, and pet dogs. Also, the B&B's proximity to Sicily, just across the Straits of Messina, afford a perfect view of Mt. Etna with its plume of smoke drifting across the sky. If you want to use the B&B as a "base" and do some local traveling, they are so full of useful information on places to go and how to get there. Need a ride to the train station or airport? They will arrange that, too. There is nothing this beautiful family won't do to make their guests happy and feel at home. Evenings are spent chatting with the family in the garden, and maybe a beer, a glass of wine, or even a ciocolatta calda (hot chocolate) might appear out of nowhere. Did I mention that this was my eighth time to stay here?

Amazing place, mysterious and unique. Very clean rooms. Great walking paths to the ruins of the castle. Amazing views.

Immediately the cleanliness and the welcome from the proprietor Eddie - he was available at all times, and most courteous, and his attitude of ownership was foremost. Whatever I asked of him, he responded with yes ✔️And the staff he had to take care of the room and the facilities were representative of him. I thank him for making my visit perfect-
