New, very clean and well stocked with amenities. Top notch applicances. We especially loved the washing machine, which was big and had an excellent dryer function. A very beautiful traditional small house. It has two nice common rooms. One is a bit more couy and the other one more for group activities, which the hosts made plenty of. Every evening there is a nice event involving food. For a small fee everybody gets plenty of nice home made food. The hosts were great and also all the other quests were great. It seems to attrackt a special (good) kind of people! The communication was great and english was no problem. Also it is possible tl drop your luggage if you arrive before 12:00.

We really enjoyed staying in an authentic Japanese home. Nice neighborhood and very quiet. We rested very well. Very spacious for two people. After staying in hotels with no extra seating we really enjoyed the chairs in the bedroom. We only stayed one night but I wish we had been able to stay longer.
