Markus is such a lovely, genuine guy and meeting him really the set the tone for our stay. The accommodation is simply stunning. You have endless views of the beautiful landscape (no-one else in sight) as well as your own private infinity pool. They have thought of absolutely everything. Superb facilities and the most comfortable beds that we slept on during our time in Namibia. The decor is fantastic and what you might expect to find at safari lodges charging several times much. We cannot wait to come back one day and spend more time here. Our only regret was that we had only booked for one night!

We had an amazing stay at tent Zahir! The tent is really big, neat and clean and the beds are super comfortable. The braai place and swimming pool are really nice. The hosts are incredibly friendly, flexible and helpful. And the area is so peaceful and quiet, you only hear birds. Even though we only stayed here for 1 night, we really got the rest we needed. This was our best stay in Namibia, compared to 9 other places where we were. We will definitely come back and book more nights at tent Zahir!

The location is outside of everything so we could completely immerse ourselves in nature. Everything was functional and there was easy communication with the owners to answer our question whenever it was needed. The pool was always clean and the all staff was friendly. There is good wifi available. The city is very close in case you need to drive to get a few things. It's 1h30 from Etosha. All in all, a very good experience.

The private campsite is situated 2kms off of the C42 and approximately 12kms from the B1 intersection with Tsumeb so it is conveniently located between Tsumeb and Grootfontein and on the way to or from Etosha as an overnight stop. The camp is rustic but comfortable with your own private ablutions. There is a small kitchen scullery sink behind the ablution. An electricity point is available too. Situated in a nook under a large tree providing shade with some welcome green grass. It is surrounded by attractive bushveld. The very helpful owner Markus, will welcome you from the road and show you the way in to the campsite and he will probably be accompanied by his menagerie of pets and tame wildlife including a warthog and meerkat, rehabilitated by his wife who is a local veternarian.

The relaxed admosphere and the friendly hospitality made this an excellent place to catch our breath and rest. Also very unique with the old Combi.

We were the first people staying with Zelda and Andre on their cattle and goat farm one hour drive away from Etosha Namutoni gate. There are two chalets with 2 BR each and a beautiful new communal kitchen outside equipped with everthing you can imagine ( even an air fryer!!!). We ask for meat, which was waiting for us already in the fridge, well prepared. There is a beautiful fire place and two new braai places. Zelda gave us extra warm nice blankets for the night. We were impressed by the family farm life close to the animals and loved the stories around the farm. The whole family was very nice and helpful and welcoming us with warm hearts. We stayed a second night and went to Etosha for a day trip. We can highly recommened staying with them. It was safe.11 km off the main road B1 to Etosha on a very well maintained gravel road. We came as visitors and left as friends. There is a farm stall shop next to a petrol station a few kilometers before the turn off onto the gravel road D3007 , where you can do some last minute shopping to use the beautifully equipped kitchen on the farm.
