This was the best place I've ever stayed at via an online booking! It was so comfortable and relaxing, and I felt very much at home. Fran is a fabulous host, very relaxed, generous and friendly, and made me feel like part of the whānau during my stay. It was just what I needed after staying in less welcoming BnB's, and I would definitely recommend a visit. In fact, I have already booked my next stay there. The plants and trees in the garden and surrounds make the place feel lush and vibrant, and the deck is a great spot to relax and enjoy your dinner or drinks. My bed was super comfortable, so much so that I was trying to find out what model it was so I can buy one! Fran shares everything and it was great to be able to cook and store my kai in the fridge instead of having to go out for dinner every night, which gets expensive and a little meaningless once the novelty wears off.

What a beautiful house. The welcome was warm with good communication for our arrival. The interior is all decorated to a certain aesthetic which is calm and peaceful and rather luxurious. Our room had the most amazing view which we woke up to over the paddock with horses to the ocean beyond. We were fortunate enough to be the only guests in the house so we were able to treat it much like a home. We ate dinner (brought) on the patio and spent hours wondering around the stunning gardens. Good quality linen and a comfy bed were a bonus.
