We arrived at "El toucan loco" for a duration of 8 days and shortly we figured out we don't really want to leave. With the warm hospitality by Olivier and Sylvie in their beautiful eco friendly floating lodge you will feel the Real Panamanian experience with the surrounding serenity and locally grown food. Starting the day with a delicious breakfast and finishing with exquisite dishes for dinner-Sylvie will make sure you will be asking for more delicacies. The floating lodge is an amazing experience if you want to enjoy the wildlife with the comfort of modernity. Very helpfull in organising daytrips. We thank the both of them deeply for being our silver lining in our travel.

This was an absolute little paradise in Panama! Such a great location with friendly hosts. Highly recommend staying here. The ffod was excellent, staff amazing, excursion wonderful! Perfect place for some fun! Bring bug spray!!!

1. Location: This place is paradise. The views from the terrace are incredible. They have a beautiful garden which is very much jungle. It comes with lots of pretty birds, monkeys, sloths, fruits and flowers. It's also very quiet (besides the sound of nature). 2. Food: There's nothing about the food that could be improved. Breakfast was incredible, with lots of fruit, and so was every other meal I had. Judith really places a lot of importance on the quality of the ingredients. Considering the quality it comes at a very good price. Great juices and I in particular loved the homemade hot chocolate. 3. Hosts: Judith and Fabrice are so nice and friendly. And really went out of their way to make sure that I had a great time there. For example when I mentioned to Judith how much I loved her chocolate she made sure there was some for every meal. 4. Comfort: It really is hotel standard which I found astonishing given that they are in the jungle. Hot water, very clean room and bathroom, great bed. And it was all done by someone with really good taste. Each room also has a lovely terrace with comfortable chairs and hammock and great view.
