We had a family trip there, the staff were very welcoming, they waited for us at the dock to walk us to their place, helping us with the luggage. The property has a beautiful and well maintained courtyard with a playground and trambuline for children which we enjoyed. The rooms were spacious and very clean, having everything we needed. The open areas (restaurant and terrace) were also spacious and clean. The food was also amazing and plentiful, madam Nicoleta and her staff made sure to appeal to all our needs, even when the child that was with us wanted to eat something other than fish, they didn't mind preparing a separate dish for him. She also helped us get into contact with local guides to take us on different trips. It was a great experience overall, would definitely recommend her place any time. And I can't stress this enough, the Delta and Easter specific dishes were really delicious, we couldn't help our selves from them, from the soups to the stuffed cabbages(sarmalute) and the deserts.

People are amazing they do everything to make u feel welcome! Iulian was great and even came to take us from the boat with his own boat so we dont have to carry luggage. The food is delicious, mostly fish ...but u can talk to Gianina if u want anything else. For example for my daughter she made chicken. Very clean! Even if the accomodation is basic (like in the photos), everything is clean and confortable. Is not a luxury location, but is a meeting people location and hugs at the end location...and promisses that we will be back!!! Loved it!!! Thanks!!

Nice place at the end of the village. Nice view from the terrace. Just nearby the river. We traveled with 2 kids and ware very happy from swimming pool in the location. We took apartment and there was enough space for our family. Host was communicative and helpful. You can order good food in the location (there is no shop or restaurant in the village). There is also summer kitchen if you take your own food. You can take an excursion with boat.

We enjoyed the Danube Delta so much. Laura, the host, was able to organize everything remotely - boat trip to delta with local fisherman, get some additional grocery. The old fisherman's house is renovated in traditional style to fully functional state with all facilities.

Truly exceptional place to relax in nature. The hosts and other travellers were lovely. We enjoyed the wonderful cooking (fish soup, polenta & fried catfish) of Nicu’s wife and there’s also a small kitchen for guests to use. We don’t have the right skill set, but other guests were buying fish straight off the local fishermen who stopped at the boat. We decided to extend our stay as we realised that three nights weren’t enough and the hosts made it happen even though they were fully booked by shuffling their room plan around. We took a boat tour (Leta - Sulina, whole day) to explore the area (nice company but due to music playing not ideal for bird lovers) and another sunset birdwatching tour of three hours leaving from Murighiol that rounded off our trip perfectly. All in all a magical place to experience at least once in a lifetime!
