Lovely rooms. Great location. The owner is lovely and so helpful. There are so many cool local restaurants nearby. We had no cash, so sadly could not try any of them. They only take cash, no visa card. Tip: the best currency exchange rate is at Krabi airport. Krabi centre is 15 mins walk.

Great place! You don’t really need to be close to Krabi town, you’ll get free rides. A tourist agency is also a part of the acommodation, so you can immediatelly organize anything you need. As soon as I arrived from the airport, they took me to a boat for Railay beach. I left my clothes for laundry, and received them dry when I was back. The room I got was very pleasant, and I had a great sleep! Furtnermore, the owners’ politeness is beyond anything I’ve ever seen before.

I like everything of this guesthouse. The location is near the main street ,close to eateries and a supermarket, yet in a quite position at the end of a side lane facing a pond. The room on the second floor of the main building is very spacious. It has a veranda facing the pond and a large comfortable bed. Also the bathroom is very spacious. All very clean. WIFI is strong. The hosts are extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Amazing hospitality. Couldn't expect anything better.

The house consists of a living room with kitchen at the ground level and at the second level 2 bedrooms with a bathroom each. The kitchen is well equipped. The living room has a dining area and two convertible sofas. The bedrooms can be darkened sufficiently. The garden consists of a private pool and parking lot, a BBQ, a dining area and a washing machine behind the house. The gate is no-see-through, so even though there is a hotel next door, it's absolutely private. It's also very quiet. Having a hotel nearby has the advantage of signposts and an address you can tell every Tuktuk driver. The pool is very nice and does not have a curfew (as in many hotels). It is well lit even at night. Nearby you have a lot of restaurants, massage parlours and laundries. The parking is spacious and easily fitted our big SUV. If you want to take a longtail or go to the beach, you might consider walking or taking a Tuktuk, as parking is extremely limited. Excellent base for excursions to Ko Phi Phi or Krabi (we had a car - I don't know about other transport).

Location is good as well, loads of restaurants and beautiful beaches close by. You can also rent a bike at the accommodation. All in all, we have had a great holiday at Loy Chalet!

Having the private pool for us was incredible. The villas are truly beachfront and there is a beach bar very near to eat and drink something. The beach in front of the hotel is great for swimming and spending the day there. The staff at the villa were great and prepared a delicious vegan breakfast specially for us. They showed us and recommended near places to visit. I would definitely come back again, we had a beautiful stay. Thank you!
