This is the best Air BnB style accommodations our family has stayed in, period. We have had homes, in New York from Rome to New York and now the West Coast and this place was just next. We checked to make sure we didn’t miss a 1 in front of the listed cost on our bank statements. Location: You’re about as close to the south gate of Sequoia as you can get without staying in the park. Three Rivers is 6000 feet below the main attraction the General Sherman so it’s a bit of a drive. When coming home they could say drive until you get cell service then drive 500 meters and take a left. Yes this is literally the fist sub community with cell service off the mountain soooo bonus. (at least for us Verizon folks) Home: Easy to get to and on a bit of a hill. At night you can hear the river far below but have the advantage of quite a view. I can’t believe I made it to the third sentence without mentioning the deck! My god, if they rented out the deck by itself it might be worth it. It has to be 400 square feet. Fans, shade curtains, misters, chairs, bar, location. When we travel 8 deep, we can suck up space and a monster outdoor space like this was just what we needed to unwind from a long day of adventuring at altitude. A glass of wine at night or early morning cup of coffee made us consider investigating CA squatter right laws. The beds had us asking what kind of mattresses they were when we woke up. They were covered with some sort of protective thing like a pillow cover so alas we will never know. The ding room and living room.....massive and kitchen all you could need! Hosts: Super responsive. We are pretty low maintenance but we appreciate quick responses. We got in after suggested check in time and that was no issue as we were given a door code. I think the door code was generated just for us because it was a number well know to us without giving specifics. They also were quick to ask how the stay was and if they could improve anything.

Our host was very prompt to answer any questions and provide us with all the information we could have asked for. We made the mistake of not looking in advance when we could check-in, so we actually arrived 2-3 hours earlier than we were supposed to. After letting our host know about our situation, they provided us with recommendations to spend some time while they were still preparing the property to ensure its cleanliness and proper sanitation was complete. They took it one step further and even texted us when the property was finished so that we could eventually check-in almost 1.5 hours early (with such short notice!). We appreciated the property and all of the amenities that they had to offer, especially the internet. We were a party of 7 and an issue that we came across at a previous property on our trip was that the internet was quite spotty. To our surprise, even in - what felt like the middle of no where - all 7 of us were able to connect with ease and we ended up watching a couple of movies at night before star gazing on the plentiful patio space. A very great host and a superb property!

The location was everything. It was so close to the Sequioa NP. Not only that, but the actual property was gorgeous. Secluded on a hill with amazing views, the property was well furnished and clean. We were 2 families with kids ages 7, 9, 12, and 15. There were enough video games, board games, and activities that kept them all entertained throughout our stay. I also loved the fact the kitchen was equipped with all the spices you can think of, coffee, and a ninja food machine that let me pressure cook my meat for stew. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent house and host. 3 full bedrooms with large king size comfortable beds. 2 bathrooms. Nice living room with dining part and kitchen. Outside tarace with BBQ. Perfect place for 6 persons travelling as 3 pairs. Spacy, clean and in very good condition. Host very friendly and welcomed us with small gifts. I wish we could stay longer.

We booked one night and as soon as we got it we extended stay for one more night. After long trip in a minute we felt welcomed, the place has all what you can think you need on vacation. Big furnitured tarrace, the view amazing. The host thought about every single detail: popcorn for your movie night, welcome snacks with bottle of wine. Kitchen is fully equipped, seasoning, cleaning tablets everything. Rooms are big, bed very comfy. Very clear instructions on how to use what. Super direct contact. It was our stop for Sequoia National Park which is just steps away. Thing which ne gets for free is an amazing Milky Way you can watch on the sky right above your head - magic place magic moments.
