The Oak Cliff was a very memorable stay that exceeded my expectations. It's better than the photos make it out to be. It is literally filled with museum quality furniture and art, but is not old and dusty feeling. Very clean and fresh. It is a unique opportunity to actually sit on furniture you can normally only glimpse in a museum period room exhibit. So cool. Every piece, every room, is fascinating and beautiful and filled with incredibly designed antique pieces, even the toilets. Tip: look closely at the art on the walls; you will be impressed. The piano is an unbelievable Steinway Dual Art from 1929 that can auto play music recorded on scrolls by the era's best players! It's incredible. And if you know how to play, be sure to test your skills on the Steinway as well. My girlfriend played for John and myself and it was a wonderful experience. Don't forget to have John give you a tour of the place! Also the view out back, over the Mohawk river is absolutely gorgeous. A truly special place and experience. If you have an aesthetic or historical bone in your body, you should visit.
