Guest House Chara ligger i Hirosaki, 34 km fra Sannai-Maruyama og 3,5 km fra Hirosaki Slot, og har udsigt til haven og den indre gårdhave. We stayed for just one night but we felt very welcome and we wanted to stay longer. Even if the location wasn’t so central we were kindly picked up and dropped off at the train station. They even helped us having an early breakfast to catch our early train. As vegetarians we put the hosts in a bit of a pickle, but they gave us a delicious breakfast nonetheless ;) We definitely would like to come back 😄

I like the guesthouse is surrounded by the nature, the closest train station is Asamushi station, it’s about 5-6 stops away from Aomori station. The guesthouse owner Taku can offer pick-up/drop-off at Asamushi station. BTW, Asamushi is famous for onsen(hot spring). Since the house is in the middle of nature so there’s no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, but you can purchase dinner and breakfast, Taku’s wife, Kaori, makes very delicious and healthy food, must try it!

Misato Memorial Hall - Vacation STAY 61405v ligger i Hirakawa, 42 km fra søen Towada, 50 km fra de varme kilder i Tsuta og 11 km fra Hirosaki Slot. The Hosts were super friendly and caring people. They like to make jokes and we had some interesting conversations. The cats couldn't be more cute :) By train its not far to Hirosaki. Go there for the cherry blossom festival - it was great for us.
