The accommodation is right in the village and just a 5 min walking distance from the most beautiful sandy beach. You sleep in big tents, which have fans, mosquitoe nets and chargers. The staff is really nice and the island is beautiful. They say you should not expect a hotel stay which makes sense, but we thought it was so much more than that because it just feels like paradise. You have hammocks all around the property and areas to just sit and chill. You can rent bikes for the island and explore the nature and wildlife.

Terrassiga Allens home stay asub Jaffnas, 2,2 km kaugusel Jaffna raudteejaamast, 3,1 km kaugusel Jaffna avalikust raamatukogust ja 3,5 km kaugusel Jaffna kindlusest. We enjoyed our stay so much!! Allen truly is the perfect host! He helped us a lot, offered great breakfast and made us feel very welcome! Many, many thanks for your hospitality and time! Hope to come again one day!

If you are looking for an authentic Jaffna homestay you will not do better than Berty’s cottage. Our hosts Hilda and Berty were just wonderful in every respect. Hilda is a wealth of knowledge about the local area and helped us to plan our days in Jaffna. Berty is a wonderful host and an incredible cook who made delicious breakfast. These varied each day and were delicious . The guest house was comfortable. Our rooms were spacious and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Superb house. Lovely people like the house manager and the owner. Very helpful all the time. Very clean, a house surrounded by lots of trees.

Very clean, modern house and the family is very nice and super friendly. They made you feel welcome and helped with finding my way around Jaffna by letting me know bus times etc to go to Nainathive. Shared some puja food as well and it was a great experience. They also made sure that tea is available before I left even though it was super early morning. Thank you very much for your hospitality and would love to come back!

This is such a lovely, comfortable place to stay. Jaffna hospitality! Beautiful house and grounds, large, comfortable room. Ravi and Kandiah graciously respond to all requests. We ended up eating not only breakfast at home but most dinners as well. Highly recommend.
