It gave us everything we wanted and more. The owner served us ice cold beers on a sunny patio beside their lovely little swimming pool. The swifts and swallows were overhead, perfect. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. All very tasteful. A generous and kindly served breakfast was included. Cannot recommend highly enough. There are a couple of restaurants (one quite famous in Portugal called Casa do Adro) otherwise the tidy and charming village is quiet.

Beautiful location and views, very comfortable beds, quiet, and excellent breakfast. Unlimited use of watercraft (SUP and kayak) was a great bonus. Nobody is on the lake. Really warm for swimming and all to yourself. Staff are very friendly and attentive.
