We really enjoyed our stay in Pukë, and at N’Konak. Through slapdash planning we had miscalculated the distance from Pukë to Komani lake, but our host Vullnet organized a boat and 4 wheel drive access to the lake, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip.

Here you can stay in the middle of a farmer's village, just right at the Komani lake. The family showed a great hospitality and we had a wonderful stay. You can relax on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view or go for a walk in the village or mountains. You can also go swimming in the lake or do a trip to the Shala river - the family helped us with all desires or needs. We can recommend this place and would like to come back!

The guesthouse was lovely!! We were so impressed with the food. They make everything from scratch, all the produce come from their garden and small farm behind the guesthouse. They serve a delicious corn bread as a side, and not only do they grow the corn but they also mill it themselves with water power in a communal stone mill. Every meal was a feast. The outdoor space is also really nice, with fruit trees and hazelnut trees. We came as a family of 8 with two babies, and it was very comfortable. The owners were very nice and helpful! So glad we came and we can't wait for the next time!

We were first time in Albania in three generation s of people. My father who is 80, my son, he is 20 and I in the middle. We all have enjoyed the stay in Borealis. There is very nice accommodation in quiet place direct at the lake. Mario with his family are nice people helpful for all questions. The room was very clean and organized. From the room is very nice view to the lake and mountains. The village Komani about 2 km far from this pension. We had delicious breakfast and dinner. All homemade from local ingrediences. This accommodation we can fully recommend.
