In naming the place 'a home away from home' the host Virginia has indeed hit the mark. Virginia provided her time in back n forth messages before arrival offering tourist information and travel options on arrival including having organised a taxi mentioning government rates, which i appreciated the transparency. The 2 night stay was ideal for getting to know Barbados from an amazing lookout view, everything being close to beach and city by foot, to the host providing tourist info and tips. Our stay here was money well spent as the house is clean, organised and everything is thought of and provided for making for a welcoming and comfortable stay. 10/10 P.s can you spot the monkey 🐒?

I was looking for some where to stay overnight in Barbados as I had a visa appointment for me and my son. I came across few places but for some reason scarlette Studios 1 stood out for me. I scooped it out online, read the reviews and decided this is it. I have no regret going there. The hosts are very helpful and lovely couple. I love the fact that the Studio is attached to their home so you don't feel alone. The Studio is very clean, enough space and simply feels like home away from home. I definitely will recommend to anyone. Thank you Paul & Marsha, definitely going back with my family♥️🙏.l

The host was excellent. Shirley (a man) was an excellent host, since he was very helpful, and accessible. He helped my sister and I to find an honest taxi driver, and gave us some recommendations regarding places to visit (mainly restaurantes). The apartment is located in the same neighborhood of the famous singer Rihanna, and I had the chance of take some pictures in front of her house, and in front of corner named Rihanna's Drive WITH Rihanna pictures and a decoration of her main famous discs. People in the entire Island are educated and gentle. This island is prepared to received tourists and my sister and I felt safe all times.
