Grate location! Great staff! Great value! Operation is exquisite, thanks to owners, Severine and Mogan. They have a clear operational philosophy, and it shows in every detail. The view from the deck is so relaxing, especially after a long drive. We stayed in the campsite, and its ablution was the cleanest of our entire trip (probably the cleanest of all Botswana). A true gem in the rough, literarily! Highly recommended. Make sure you drive a 4x4 to get there.

Tony is a wonderful host. It was a VERY last minute & late arrival booking and he was very accommodating. The place is huge and there are aircons for the bedrooms and lounge which is great. There is no backup power at the moment for the more and more frequent power cuts being experienced in Maun, but Tony is looking at a generator or solar system to assist on this front. There is backup lighting for when the electricity fails and the Wi-Fi is on a backup UPS, so at least communications are still possible for an hour or so after the start of the power cuts. The property is extremely spacious and lots of thought has gone into making it comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed with both electric and gas stove (good during power cuts), plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. I loved the hot-tub, which was great way to ease away the stresses of the journey. I enjoyed and will definitely be back.

Very convenient and well laid out 2 bedroom apt with modern amenities and everything needed to make this a base to explore the Maun area. Tshespo was very helpful in finding an alternate for 1 night when there was no electricity in that area due to some work going on. We were not left stranded to fend for ourselves. Very helpful indeed. We were very comfortable in our stay and in the self catering especially as we are vegetarians. Perfect place to explore the area for the full day and the recharge in the evening/night to repeat the next day. We highly recommend villa 13.
