Great location - Prachov rocks are accessible via foot trails - if you are willing to invest a bit more time hiking, no need to drive to the Prachov rocks and pay the parking fee. Also a great base for bike touring or mountain biking (although biking is prohibited on the central trails of Prachov rocks). Safe place to lock the bikes up during the night. Nice outdoor area to have your lunch or dinner outside. Fully equipped kitchen in the apartment (ours was Family Room with Balcony). The only thing missing for complete luxury is a washing machine and dishwasher. And the hot water boiler is on the small size for such large apartment, so be frugal with your water expenditure. Closest beach that we found was a paid beach at Oborsky rybnik near Jenolice. 30/10 CZK for adults/ children (until 18:00), but well worth the moderate entrance fee. Car parking at the beach costs extra, but you can find a place on the main road and walk to the beach. And don't miss savoring ice cream at the top rated zmrzlina kiosk in Knežnice after you beach visit :-)

From the house you can reach the trails of Prachovske skaly on foot. Th garden is great, you can grill, there is a trampolin for kids. The hosts are very helpful, but you need a translator app if you don’t speak czech.

Great quite place situated on the egde of the forest. There are two cottages sharing one garden. It wasn't problem for us because between them are trees. We were in the smaller hut. It was equiped with everything you would need for your stay. Big fridge was a big plus :) Great host. Thank you :)

The locatin of the hotel was the best, 5 minutes drive from Prachov/Cesky raj. The staff was very kind and willing to help us with our question. There is lots of parking in the place. * the room is very small.

Excellent place for hiking and escape from the noise of the city for few days. A lot of nature in surroundings. Helpful staff and delicious food.

Location of the accommodation was quite good, small swimming lake was about 15 minutes walking distance and Brachov rocks approximately 5 minutes driving distance. It was possible to park minivan close to the accommodation. Shared toilets and shower area was clean. There was a small restaurant where it was possible to buy dinner (hamburger, fries, home made juice, coffe, beer etc.) and breakfast (pancakes, scrambled eggs etc.). Big playing ground for kids with lot of sand. We rented 2 houses (2 floors each house). Basic but comfortable beds, basic shelf for bags, good ventilation because of thin wooden walls. It suited us very well.

Nice location in an authentic and very picturesque Czech village. Lots of great scenery and hikes nearby. Bus stop nearby with a limited service. About a 1.8km walk to the nearest train station, which offers great connections. Spacious accommodation and well equipped and with real character.
