We could really relax while traveling with our dog at this hotel: a real find! Particularry the grounds offered a stunnig back garden and lovely bear garden in the front. Breakfast was excellent and in general a very confortable and friendly German experience.

This is a wonderful apartment stay in a 400+ year old house. We were ready to accept some difficulties in such an old house, but there were none. The apartment has been tastefully and thoughtfully renovated without losing old-world charm. The shower is excellent, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. There is a bakery directly opposite, a supermarket 5 minutes away and an excellent restaurant downstairs. We came by tram from Heidelberg and it was an easy walk to the hotel, even with luggage. Despite its age, a lift has been installed in the back of the house, so the tight, steep stairs can be avoided. We loved everything about it and would highly recommend the two bedroom apartment. Internet access was excellent.Schriesheim is a small town so an easy walk around its sights. But Heidelberg and Mannheim are easily reached by tram. Tram stop about 10 minutes walk away.

The hotel staff were excellent with us. We managed to leave our wash bag behind when checking and once realising the mistake I contacted the hotel who then sent it onwards for us via DHL. We had a superb dinner the night of our stay in their restaurant and it’s probably the most dog friendly hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Our room had a lovely view and dog walking was straight out into the forest! I can highly recommend this gem of a place.

Although I made last minute booking and arrived pretty late the host greeted me and showed me to my room. Room itself was really nice and super tidy. I usually stay away from the guest houses after some bad experiences, but this place is simply AMAZING. Very welcoming and cosy!

It was really good, and we will go back if we need room araund there. Staff was really friendly and helpfull. Room is big. In restaurant everybody is soo kind and friendly. Help with menu, because we not speak german. Food is really tasty and big portion. Breakfast was ok.
