Great location and friendly owner. Their house`s upstairs was totally for our use, well equipped kitchen and lot of space. Rooms were clean and there were nice balcony to sit and watch the stars.

We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it! The host was extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. The apartment was spotless, and everything was thoughtfully prepared for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, with plenty of shelving and storage, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern, with an excellent shower. We especially appreciated the well-equipped self-catering facilities – a proper coffee express machine, electric stove, and more than enough plates, cutlery, and kitchenware, which made it easy to feel at home. The location is superb: right in the middle between Oberwesel and Bacharach, with both just a short drive away. Even better, there are a couple of beautiful walking trails starting directly from the property, so you don’t even need to move your car to enjoy the scenery. Being halfway between Koblenz and Rüdesheim also makes it an ideal base for exploring the Rhine gorge. One thing to note: the property is in Langscheid, a quiet little village up the hill from the river. We actually loved the peace and tranquillity – at night the only sound was the gentle chorus of grasshoppers – but if you’re looking for restaurants and wine taverns within walking distance, you may prefer to stay closer to towns like Oberwesel or Bacharach. For us, however, the quiet location, the comfort of the apartment, and the warm hospitality made this a perfect stay.

Florian met us upon arrival to hand over the keys, invite us to share his garden and relax there if we wanted too which was so lovely. The guesthouse was gorgeous and far exceeded expectations, with a nice sofa room and perfect kitchen. Everything was incredibly clean, great location along the Rhein for those walking it like ourselves and a short walk to Rewe for food (but Florian also provided snacks/ pizza for a small price if you wanted to save the walk). We really loved it here - such a special guesthouse along a beautiful area of Germany. The town too was very ideallic. Thank you so much for having us.

We enjoyed a great 3 night stay at Ferienwohnung Bacharach, with everything well suited to our needs. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and very clean, and is well located just a 10 minutes walk into the gorgeous old Rhine Valley town of Bacharach. This was one of the most beautiful hotels that we have stayed at , in our whole European holiday. The hotel is of wonderful German traditional style , but with all the modern touches you need to be comfortable . The host and staff are all super friendly and warm , and really look after you . We had a delicious dinner and breakfast in the beautiful dining room, and enjoyed taking a walk around the stunning countryside even though it was very cold at the time of year we visited.
