I liked the location, it is a quiet area, the room has a full kitchen, and they have hot water at all the taps. The breakfast was basic but good and they have proper coffee, not that instant crap that is common in Ecuador.

The guesthouse was really beautiful and comfy. It was clean and tidy and it had hot water (something that is not to be taken for granted in Ecuador). The kitchen was super spacious and well equipped and the view from the balcony exceptional. The location was also really good, close to the city center and not far from the bus terminal. Also, the people that run the house were really friendly, polite and helpful. We actually changed a couple of hostels while in Cuenca cause they didn't meet our expectations (like hot water for example) and we found this one to be a perfect fit. Bella Vista is definitely a place to go back to if ever again in the city.

The staff was very kind. Our room had a big bed and was very spacious. There were traditional Ecuadorian breakfasts. In a nutshell, the price/quality ratio was excellent.
