It was very clean, spacious, great decor and furnishings, lovely views, a creek just below the window of my bedroom, very soothing to hear the water sound whilst falling asleep, many windows throughout the property with balcony, high ceilings, everything brand new and the host, wow, amazing woman, washed my clothes, made me a sandwich and even gave me a hug when I was in need of one, felt like it was my mom. Great place, wanted to stay longer if wasn’t for me doing the Camino de Santiago.

Location was our first priority as it featured as a launch point for the next leg of our walk on the Camino. However, the property, the decor, the features, were incredible. Very impressed and very helpful host too, with lots of advice and guidance on shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. Well worth a stay for the comfort alone!!

We arrived by foot (we're walking the Camino del Norte) in Baketxe Baserria and we got a very warm welcome by Sorkunde and Ana. They were extremely friendly and polite and showed us their amazing place. The architecture and location are breathtaking. They renovated the place and made it to a beautiful peaceful dream. Very clean and everything is provided, very good beds and nice bathroom. There is a nice pool and a padel-court, jaccuzi, beautiful garden and terrace. And you can't hear a sound (only the birds). Sorkunde made us a delicious diner in the evening and they arranged our taxi to BIO for us. We felt at home and very welcome and we are definitely returning next year to start our second part of the Camino. If you are in the neighborhood: this is the place to stay. Even for a nice vacation for a few days or a week it will be very relaxing and the nature around is amazing.
