Way outing the country, this custom-built add-on to a farm is exquisite. Spacious, cleverly designed and elegant. The super-king bed is super-comfortable. We were there in deep winter, but the room was very cosy. Excellent walk-in shower. Madame takes very good care of guests, and serves an outstanding breakfast, with home-made yoghurt and jams. 15 minutes from beautiful Chinon where we enjoyed a top class dinner (au Cafe Chaud).

The hospitality of Eric and Marianne was outstanding. They connected with my husband and I making our time in the Loire Valley extra special. The room was spacious and comfortable, the compound was lovely with the flower beds, the breakfast was delicious, and the location quiet and peaceful. We were close to Chinon, an interesting town with cafes, shops, wineries, and the historical Chinon Fortress.

I almost don’t want to tell you how good it was, don’t want to spoil such a location with crowds of people. I’m sure we will go back. Our hosts many years in the hotel industry shine through from our first warm welcome to our parting. The garden is a total delight with fruits and vegetables. We were given a surprise visit to the caves then we enjoyed fresh chicken on the patio with the other guests.

It could accommodate seven of us reasonably comfortably. It is quiet. The photos give a true picture of it - nothing super attractive, but serviceable. Plenty of hot water. The couple who provided us with the keys (owners or caretakers?) were pleasant; they speak no English.

Everything was very charming! The breakfast was quite good with a nice selection.I especially loved the little decorative touches on the breakfast tray!! Vero and Ronan were excellent hosts and made us feel like part of the family! We would highly recommend a stay!
