Charming enclosed property located in a small peaceful village. Great for the more quiet base near the busier touristic places. Parking is on the street close the the house. The garden with swimming pools is beautifully landscaped. Our room was on the first floor. it had a comfy bed and was stylishly decorated. The bathroom was in the hall with the direct access from the room. The breakfast was served in the cozy dining room on the ground floor. It was delicious with a good selection of food.Our hostess Virginia was friendly and spoke English.

The cottage is self-catering with a spacious well-equipped kitchen. All the rooms were large and well-appointed. It was handy to have a downstairs loo as well as the upstairs bathrooom . The star attraction for most people will no doubt be the swimming pool, which guests have to themselves. The family were charming, very friendly and helpful and invited us to diinner on our last night, which also happened to be our anniversary. All in all it is a very uinusual, beautiful and restful place and for us was a happy experience. I am a writer and got several thousand words of a novel done during the week. No review could be complete without thanking the excellent dogs and chickens, who roamed the lawn together, and kept us amused. We arrived as strangers, parted as friends. I can't recommend it too highly.

Thoughtfully built and designed, the property was new and chic, with very high quality appliances and fixtures. The owner was responsive to queries. The area has plenty of supermarkets, boulangeries and restaurants. The location is near an area of vineyards with many small roads perfect for walking, jogging, or perhaps cycling. The nearby vineyards are neatly kept and the ecology of the landscape is calming and natural.

Our hosts were friendly and attentive. We were provided with the best biggest comfortable room with an exceptional design that combines modern, rustic and industrial styles. The room had a balcony, an air conditioner, and all the necessary details that make you feel at home. The breakfast was delicious with homemade products. The quality-price balance was above all expectations. The house is located in the centre of the historic village. Our hosts gave us detailed information about the sightseeing in the area.

Very clean house. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need. Although we didn't get to meet Lynda in person, she made contact with us very frequently to make sure everything was OK. All in all a very enjoyable stay in a lovely village.
