Right from the lovely welcome with coffee, cake and sharing their extensive knowledge of the battlefields to Jenny's first class cooking of both breakfasts and dinners with surprises at each meal. All our needs and questions were answered without hesitation.

We loved this accommodation! The host was friendly and showed us around. The accommodation is a lovely French house with everything you may need. It has 2 comfortable double beds, gorgeous linen on the bed, lots of pillows and everything was pristine. The host thought of so many extra little things like shampoo and other toiletries, dishwasher tablets, lots of fluffy towels and dishcloths, bottled water in the fridge, tea and coffee, fresh flowers in the house - the list goes on! It's in a lovely quiet area with secure parking behind an electric gate. So worth a visit!

We were lucky because they just started.... A beautiful, cozy, luxurious 2 bedrooms cottage with excellent taste of decoration. 10+++++ Everything was well put together and thought through for the travellers/visitors. A wonderful place to rest and enjoy... The property itself should be a must visit/stay if you are in the area, not just for a stopover destination. Lots of pictures.... A great for anyone It is in a wonderful setting like a private park from a book, painting or movie. Absolutely unexpected gem! We will definitely return... Wonderful and warm hosts. Very friendly, thoughtful and open-minded like the house. Thank you so much for everything! Beyond any words...

Very clean, very comfortable, breakfast excellent, hostess very knowledgeable and friendly, beautiful grounds with well-kept flower beds, working farm with cows and chickens and turkeys but spotless and extremely pleasant.

Both of the owners could not have been more helpful. Good parking. There could not be anyone more knowledgeable about WW1 and the surrounding area.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed being in the countryside after weeks of big cities. You will need to have a vehicle to stay here, as there is no public transit nearby. Very close to Beaumont-Hamel and many other WWI memorials.
