The location is fantastic. So peaceful and quiet yet only about 20 km from the lovely city of Bordeaux and beautiful town of St. Emilion. Cassandre and Loic were such welcoming and helpful hosts. Cassandre's fluency in English was a great bonus to us whose knowledge of the language would be very limited! We loved every single moment of our time spent there. And we must mention their lovely cats as well. One of them whose name escapes me, checked in on us every day and some nights too when he's spend his night sleeping in our son Simon's bed! And of course the lovely rooster and his hens down at the end of the garden. Cassandre always made sure we were never short of an egg for breakfast. We absolutely loved this place and hope to go back there again. I'm sure there's many more things we could add, if we could only think of them right now! We're very happy to give this lovely place and it's owners this good review which they truly deserve.

We stayed in the studio and it was comfortable, quiet and clean. The wine tour is a must. An easy walk to the village. We cycled around the area which was fabulous. Our hosts Maria and Thomas were friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble.

The room gets you access to the full Chateau ! ie: shared upstairs games room, shared downstairs kitchen + dining hall, and you can park and recharge your bikes in the garage. WOW! There was a storm the night we arrived and Monette (the host) drove a few of us to the local village where she ordered Pizzas which we brought back and had a shared banquet. WOW ! We had a king size bed and the room had an additional large single bed in a small loft - up a ladder. A decent sized shower, and all up-to-date fittings. Google Maps doesn't have a street view because their road is gravel, not bitumen. We rode in from the Velo Verte and found the road by dead reckoning - it's not sign posted - so enable your GPS to be sure. The kitchen+dining hall is handy on Sunday and Monday nights in this region of France where almost everything is closed. So buy your picnic dinner en-route and dine in. On hot afternoons chillax in the pool, while you take in the rolling hills, then ride back into Creon on Tuesday thru Saturday evening for a restaurant dinner. Continental breakfast includes breads, baguettes (plain and chocolate), jams, teas (all types) and coffee. But if you ask Monette ahead of time to have some eggs in the fridge, then supercharge that with DIY scrambled eggs. Too easy !

The owner family's hospitality was great. We visited the market togther with the owner and he cooked super wonderful dinner. The garden was beautiful and comfortable to stay at. Rooms are full of paintings, that entertained us. The location not far from St Emilion is also good. Our stay there was like dreaming in the paradise.

As advertised, the apartment had a wonderful kitchen with a washer/dryer. The town square was a 5 min walk where there was a great bakery. ALDI's grocery store was a 10 min walk. Also a 10 min walk was the Roger Lapebie bike path where you can rent an electric bike and bike into Bordeaux (1 1/2 hour ride one way). The private parking was also very much appreciated. Bruno, our host, made sure that we had everything we needed and that our stay was all that we expected.

Julien (owner) went far and beyond to make our stay positive and was very supportive when we had a family emergency. We traveled with 4 children and Julien was one of the best hosts we’ve encountered on our bike tour. His house is pristine clean and modern inside, it was very pleasant to stay there.
