A wonderful find. You enter through an unassuming doorway into a beautiful courtyard. Completely secure for our bikes. We had free range of the extensive garden. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The small kitchen was well equipped. Characterful. Sylvie is a very good host - we felt very welcome and were sad to have to leave.

Apartment is situated in a very beautiful village and it's self very nice and tidy.
Good bed (except the pillow 😠) and the sound of rain in the roof window above it was so relaxing.
Nice, very big bathroom, including good hairdryer.
We didn't use the kitchen but with Samsung Smart oven it seems that you can cook well if you don't want to visit the nice local restaurant, about 6 minutes walk from the apartment.
Free parking on the street.

This is a small but incredibly well, thought through apartment. Everything which was needed was provided and more. There was an excellent welcome gift of fruit and sweet treats. The shower room was exceptionally well equipped and even provided a toothbrush (if required). We could store our bikes securely in the garage. There is no outside space but there were some walks around the area displayed on an information board close to the property and it was close to a bakery and other facilities in the settlement.
The hotel is situated a few kilometres South of Metz, in Jouy aux Arches, perfect for exploring this delightful town. The hotel has its own unique charm and character

First and foremost I would like to mention the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner: she even offered to carry one piece of luggage upstairs without being asked and she brought extra cheese for breakfast as the marmalade is too sweet for me.
And I had a real chambre d'hôtes experience having breakfast together with a french couple and their adult daughter. Ideal if you want to improve on your language skills. Because of this I consider going back when the occasion arrives.
