The place was exactly what we were looking for, a bit away from everything and rural. It is a nicely restored cottage with modern amenities: a good hybrid of original architecture and modern features. It has very well selected pieces of antiquities but not over the top. The upper floor is a perfect hideout for kids with plenty of board games, video games, books and movies. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and provide sufficient space for the whole family. Washer, dryer and gas bbq are also provided including cleaning materials and detergents which is very rare! Internet is fast enough for video calls (Teams, Zoom etc) for doing home office. The pool is gated and private. Parking is directly on the property with sufficient space for large cars. British cable TV is available, however there are plenty of DVDs, books and board games provided. The house does not have an AC or fan but even with the heat wave of more than 30°C it wasn't needed. Easy communication with the owners with immediate help (with regards to pool cleaning). The property managers were also very friiendly and even provided towel service change after a week of stay.

Authentic cottage in the country side, we loved the silence and relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings and a big garden with a lot of toys for the kids. Also convenient to stop on the way further south: near highway and you can just park in front of the cottage. House itself is clean. Stayed here for the 2nd time. Owners changed in the meantime, but for the rest it is almost the same as in 2021 :)

We wanted a place to stay half way between Paris and Toulouse, and St Benoit en Sault fit the bill. The owners are renovating an old house in the medieval village and the renovation of our room was completed in July. So everything was new - lovely bathroom, comfortable bed, stylish decor. The outside of the building looks run-down, but don't be deceived: the inside is lovely. Breakfast was in a dining room and had nice touches - proper napkins, nice china. The breakfast was fine - apple juice, coffee, bread roll, croissant, butter, jam, bread pudding (!), fruit. The place is quiet, and the village is worth visiting.
