A very peaceful and quiet location. The junior suite that we had was in excellent condition, well equipped and comfortable. There was a bus service that came past the hotel but it wasn’t very frequent so we would advise using a car. A continental breakfast pack was supplied for the first day but was sufficiently generous to last two days. An excellent M&S food shop is ten minutes drive away in St Johns, along with a restaurant/pub. The local village has another pub and small village shop.

It is a very traditional style hotel but that just makes it comfortable and leisurely to be there. A very nice meal at the local pub which is part of the hotel and a scrumptious breakfast the next morning in the conservatory added to the stay as well.
