Excellent value for money at this time of year. Rooms are beautiful but if anything too beautiful given the weather at this time of year. Could definitely benefit from a drying room but the pub is wonderful and the food extremely good. Well worth a stay and you’re right on a path up to the hellvelyn ridge so what more could you want.

We had such a lovely stay at Leatheswater, the views were just beautiful. The apartment was perfect it felt very homely and had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable. There is lots to from here we didn’t need to use the car very much lots of beautiful walks and the lake is only a short walk away. We shall definitely be coming back here again! Fantastic value for money.
