Finding yourself in Anna and Michalis' (warm, kind, caring hosts who will give you best advice what (not) to do on Crete) house is like winning a lottery ticket. Traditional and at the same time equipped with absolutely everything you might need to live and relax independently and comfortably in a mountain village - this cottage is the perfect shelter from tourism, mass and banality. Picturesquely situated, with a beautiful garden and an olive grove uphill, with a soul and family history, allowing you to feel like you got to the heart of Crete. If you are looking for stunning sunrises, or romantic sunsets, valuable encounter with the locals rather than tourists, an authentic experience of this unique island, breath, or maybe inspiration - book immediately when you see it's available. Ideal for couples. A few tips: you'd better rent a car - it will make getting to the place and visiting villages and tavernas around easier. This is not a mainstream all inclusive type of thing, but a real, traditional house in the middle of hills, so you are a guest of the surrounding nature too:)

Accommodation in a beautiful location inland, yet not far from the sea and amazing beaches! Accommodation matched the description, excellent communication with the broker Manolis. Accommodation is on the first and second floor of the house with a huge terrace with impressive views. On the ground floor live the older owners Janis and Theodora, who are nice and helpful, with whom you can only speak Greek. They offered us their local products such as olive oil, figs, grapes and pomegranates. Accommodation is highly positively rated, we will be happy to come back sometime, we recommend !!!

It's not even possible to describe how much we liked our stay in Giannis his house. The view from the terrace is wonderfull. The house really comfortable, with everything you need and more.

We were overwhelmed when we arrived at this beautiful place up in the mountains near Kissamos. Polyrinia is a charming village. Since it is up in the mountains it is very quiet en from the garden we had a great few of the surrounding mountains. The house is very charming, clean and decorated with so much detail en thought. The garden is exceptionally wel kept en very very nice. There are several sitting areas, so we could chose if we wanted to sit in the sun or shade. I t was a pleasure to wake up in the morning. People in the village are very friendly. You can find a taverna, a shop with very friendly owners and a small café run by an english lady. We would definetly recommend this place!

This has got to be one of the best holiday rentals I have ever booked EVER!! The communication was great with the owner Arietta before arrival, so it was so nice to meet her in person too. There was a lovely welcome basket on arrival with delicious food treats. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful, tastefully decorated and very clean, great pool with a nice outside dining area too. There were lots of lovely toiletries too, very comfy bed and great shower. The grounds are big, again very clean and well kept, lovely pool and the views are amazing. The area itself is very quiet, but within 7-8 minutes you are in the main town Kissamos. You do need a car to get around so we did get to explore the surrounding areas too. What I loved about the villa is that it was just so peaceful, chilled and tranquil, there was hardly any other cars driving by, and all you would hear is the bells from the goats nearby or the kestrels in the sky! As this is one of my favourite rentals, I can't wait till we return again! Thank you Arietta!!

Host is a treasure :) what else do you need? Honestly, we are returning customers. And we will be back probably. This is our favorite location for relaxing stay on Crete. Peace, quite and 4 perfect beaches in range (Paleochora, Falasarna, Elafonisi, Agio Apostoli - every one in more/less the same distance/time travel). This is perfect match for our need and preferences. And then near byRotonta Cafe - tavern with delicious fresh meals in very reasonable prices!

super cute little authentic greek house with everything you need. the location is in a remote small village so mind that its a bit of a drive. we had a excellent stay! the bed is good and the balcony is very nice to enjoy the view while having breakfast
