My partner and I decided we'd stay in Lovina for a change and when we saw this villa online, we couldn't resist - and we were not disappointed. Most reviews will speak on the rocky dirt road you encounter when getting to the villa, but what's waiting for you at the end of this beaten path is a hidden gem. The villa itself is very spacious and comfortable, with a huge bed, cold AC, two sinks (one for you and one for your partner) and a huge shower. The views from the verandah and pool are insane, featuring rice fields and the ocean, something you'd expect to cost an arm and leg. The staff looked after us very well, tailoring our stay and always checking in. It is hard to get a taxi, so I'd suggest budgeting for the driver through the hotel (300,000 per trip) and planning your days so you don't rack up a big transport bill. The driver is great and will drop you off and pick you up wherever, whenever. The food is also a bit pricey compared to what you'd get on the street but it is definitely worth eating at least once at the villa as the view is breathtaking. To summarise, I 100% recommend staying at this villa. Whilst it has some cons (as just about every other accommodation), the pros significantly outweigh them.

Breakfast was good, provided more than what we needed. We were 6 adult and2 kids below 11 years old, we always had left over.

Underrated place. Villa's are spatious, nice, clean and cozy. The view is stunning, you can watch sunsets here, the pool is nice, the staff are friendly. It's a quiet getaway you don't want to leave. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Alamanda Resort far exceeded our expectations. The bungalow we stayed in was huge and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the view over the stunning lush gardens and out to sea was incredible. The resort has two beautiful swimming pools to cool off in. The property is a little out of the hustle and bustle of town but still walkable. The hotel also offers a very convenient shuttle service. The highlight for us was the charming and welcoming owners and the wonderful staff that looked after us. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay longer. Highly recommended!

Great stay in Lovina – peaceful location & excellent food We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Lovina! The villa was very clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The entire hotel property is beautifully maintained and surrounded by nature, which creates a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. The staff deserves special mention – everyone was extremely friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. You can really feel the warm and genuine hospitality throughout the stay. The hotel is a bit more secluded, so it’s not right in the middle of everything. But honestly, that’s part of the charm. It’s quiet, relaxing, and perfect if you want to escape the busy tourist areas. One of the highlights for us was definitely the food. Since the location is a bit remote, we ate at the hotel restaurant – and we were pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food was excellent, with a great selection and fresh ingredients. A wonderful place to stay in Lovina if you are looking for peace, nature, and great service. The slightly remote location is more than made up for by the beautiful setting and the fantastic food. Highly recommended.

The pool and the garden were wonderful. There are many fruit trees in the garden where if you are lucky you can have fresh fruits picked by yourself. Very spacious property with many places to rest in style. You feel like living in a palace compared to the surroundings. 😊

Our Best stay in Bali. The Cabins are in a very beautiful place and your view is of the rice fields. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend that you eat at the restaurant while you stay cause the food was super delicious. We couldn't be happier with such an experience. It might seem that it is far from the "main" spots of Bali but there are plenty of things to do also. 100% recommend.

The best thing was - the view from villa. Villa located in middle of rice fields, so you can enjoy beautiful view straight from your villa, or even from the pool. The entire area surrounding the villa complex was beautifully maintained, with stunning gardens and landscaping throughout. Place itself is located on the corner of small town / village, so you can expect of having relaxing time, without any hustle n bustle. Place owns a restaurant which is comfortable. As well you can rent a scooter from villa, which is very convenient if you want to travel around.

Everything…… especially their hospitality

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bukit Luwih House was honestly one of the best accommodation experiences we had during our trip in Bali. Everything about this place feels carefully thought through, from the comfort of the room to the smallest practical details. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed and mattress were extremely comfortable, and the view from the property was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up surrounded by the beautiful green landscape of Munduk was an experience by itself. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, delicious, beautifully prepared, and far better than what I expected for the price we paid. The staff were another highlight: genuinely friendly, respectful, welcoming, and always ready to help. What impressed me most, however, was the attention to detail. One very simple example says a lot about how thoughtfully this property was designed: even the bathroom/shower windows have protective mesh screens. Munduk is surrounded by forests and nature, so insects and small geckos are naturally common in the area. For guests who may be uncomfortable with them, this small detail makes a huge difference and helps keep the room protected without taking away from the natural surroundings. That may sound like a small thing, but to me it shows that the owner has actually thought about the guest experience down to details that many properties would completely overlook. The combination of cleanliness, comfort, incredible views, excellent breakfast, wonderful staff, and outstanding value for money made our stay exceptional. A sincere compliment to the owner and everyone behind Bukit Luwih House. You can feel that this place was created with care rather than simply operated as another accommodation. If Google allowed more than 5 stars, I would give it more. And if Booking allowed more than 10/10, I would do the same. One of those rare places where I left feeling that the value we received was far greater than what we paid.

This was such a great find! The room was spacious and clean, the staff was so welcoming and friendly, and the pool had a stunning view. The staff was able to help us rent a scooter once we arrived which made our trip so easy.

Extremely clean, modern and super comfortable, friendly staff and a spotless room. For me it was the perfect stay, which is why I extended. Very attentive/ helpful staff. Definitely has to be one of the best places to stay when visiting Munduk

You're surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of mountains, jungle, and, on clear days, even the sea. The cabin itself is a modern Balinese paradise. We were among the first Booking.com guests to stay there, and everything felt fresh and inviting. The chic design, from the rugs to the furniture, created a lovely ambiance. The bathroom? A spa-like haven with a stone rock shower adorned with real plants – an unexpected delight. Every detail within the cabin was top-notch, down to the Crate and Barrel dishes! Who knew that there was a Crate and Barrel in Indonesia? The bed was soft and comfortable? They had a microwave and an espresso machine - quite a rare find in Bali! Indulging in both daily made us feel pampered beyond belief as full time travelers. Our days fell into a blissful routine: waking up to journal and meditate, enjoying breakfast brought by Saras and his wife while soaking in the Bali beauty, sipping on espresso, and reflecting on life. The patio became our work-from-paradise spot, with occasional walks along the property's serene paths. Ordering dinner via Grab or Gojek (only two restaurants will deliver to this area) added a touch of convenience, and evenings were spent watching a show or movie on our laptop. We repeated this heavenly routine for seven memorable days. Oh, and those avocado smoothies! They were the absolute best.

It’s just perfect place to get some rest and enjoy nature

We had a super nice experience at Umaku! It is a new Homestay that is perfectly clean and just like the pictures. It is surrounded by rice fields and super quiet and peaceful. The big breakfast was perfect after the waterfall hike. We would have happily stayed longer.

We had the best time at Yoga Homestay. The staff was extremely helpful, the room was clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was large.

The bangalow we had was equipped with everything needed, and very causy place, The place is surrounded by greenery, and very relaxing and peaceful. There is a kitchen for breakfast, and even a fridge with some drinks ans snacks ( to buy)

Thoughtful driver service: Hosts arranged a friendly driver to take us to nearby Munduk village for dinner. Impeccable cleanliness: Spotless rooms with regular changes of towels and linens. Fully equipped rooms: Included hairdryer, kettle, toiletries, and hot drink setup. Peaceful location: Very quiet and serene atmosphere, yet only a 10-minute walk to an ATM and mini-market.

We had a wonderful stay at Parawiyya Villa! The staff was extremely helpful and so hospitable and generous. They were great communicators and took care of all of our wants and needs. They prepared a huge, delicious breakfast each day and even provided us with a Scooter to use fully gassed. Gede gave us many recommendations of local waterfalls, temples, hikes, and hotspring. The beds were extremely soft and comfortable. All of the aesthetics were beautiful and view was amazing! The location is also great…close to everything and easy to access all the trails. We ate at a Warung 4 min walk down the street several times that was probably the best food we’ve had in Bali. Everything was wonderful!

Staff went out of their way to provide us with some simple stores to make a simple meal in our room as the restaurant was closed that night. They did not charge us for the stores.

Great stay, highly recommend! The place had a really nice atmosphere and everything was thought out down to the small details. Very clean and comfortable, and the host was helpful and easy to communicate with. Great value for money — you get a lot for the price. The location was convenient too. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back. Thank you!
