The room was beautiful and clean, the host was the best woman in the world. Val d’Orcia is extremely beautiful place to visit, on of the most impressive I’ve ever seen. And the host is perfect, highly recommended place to stay! Everything inside the apartment was super-clean and cosy, we could use perfect kitchen with every possible needed thing in it, we could go by foot to see panoramic beautiful sunset or go by car and see beautiful mountain Toscana places and even Gladiator movie shooting point. We just had a wonderful two-night stay at Il Poderuccio and only wish that we were able to stay there longer. The views from the property are truly spectacular in every direction. Even though you'll feel far away from it all, you can easily go on some nice walks and visit local tasting rooms. Our apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful in the morning morning, and Fabiana was the most excellent hostess. (Thank you for your recommendations, Fabi!) This agriturismo is perfect for people who want to simply relax, enjoy some delicious local wine and snacks, and soak in the natural beauty of Val d'Orcia.

Over the course of a month, my husband and I stayed in 18 different places (together and separately), and this was the one we both regretted leaving the most. Our host was gracious beyond measure. The accommodations were welcoming, and the views were beautiful beyond description. On our second night, we were especially fortunate to have the place all to ourselves. We were told that the roads of Val d'Orcia were the most beautiful in Italy. We felt ridiculously lucky to find that this beautiful gem at the end of the road!

A true gem in a beautiful location. We were looking for a quiet farmhouse to stay for our visit in south Tuscany, and it exceeded our expectations to become the best stay we had in Italy. Roberto was a great host, kind and helpful. The facilities are tidy, the room was clean and well organized with a full equipped kitchen with everything that you need to prepare yourself a decent meal. We were amazed by how the Roberto thought of everything, from wood for the fireplace waiting for you outside the door to salt and pepper in the kitchen. Compared to other country side farmhouses we stayed in, Poggio Al Vento was by far the best. Highly recommended!

Location with a very nice view to overlook the valley and hills. The room is very clean and spotless, it made us feel like home, very comfy. The hosts produce wine and olive oil which you can buy - I recommend ! The hosts are very nice, the room is large, spacious, very clean with a well equipped kitchen. We are delighted !

It has everything you could need for a great stay. The location is just superb - overlooking a beautiful valley. Fabio and his wife Kelli are the utmost hosts! We chose eat elsewhere or cook in our apartment. There are loads of restaurants not far away. So calm and quiet at night. It was a total relaxation and the black and white cat that came to visit was a bonus. :)MoniqueYoung couple
