Great stay in a 1500 year old castle! Enjoyed the afternoon by the pool and exploring the grounds. The host was very welcoming. We had a delicious pizza prepared on-site for dinner with wine on the balcony. The atmosphere was great in this building due to its age. There was no aircon but it stayed cool in the building due to the thickness of the walls, it was 32C but still cool in the bedroom. There was only one other couple staying so we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

We loved the private side entrance, access to the laundry facilities and separation of space! Our host was so helpful with information about the area and checking in on us to see if we needed anything. It’s a short walk to the historic center and the best restaurant and bakery are a 2 minute walk. It’s everything we needed for our stay.

Very comfortable place, quiet and easily accessible, located between Milan, Bergamo and Lake Como. The place is equipped with everything you need to feel at home. There is a large supermarket nearby, several very nice places to eat and a glass of wine... If we are visiting the lovely Lombardy, we will be happy to stay there again! Totally recommended, excellent attention from the staff. When we first arrived at the train station, I didn't know there were no taxis, so I called the hotel and they sent me a taxi immediately. It is very clean and nice.

We had an extraordinary Easter time at Villa Galimberti. The house is a true classic villa and it maintains the original furniture, which makes it a unique, very authentic place. It also has a beautiful garden. Above all, the attention of Angela and Marina was beyond description: their willingness to help, recommendations and welcoming spirit couldn’t have been better. We highly recommend it.
