I Gerani Rossi has a warm, welcoming, relaxed, homely feel. The host was incredibly warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. She could not have been nicer. Delicious, generous breakfast. Good, clean, well kept facilities. Good wifi. A small but idelic garden. Despite a language barrier (the host did not speak English and we didn't speak Italian), she still managed to communicate clearly and for whenever it was necessary then her niece translated to/from English. The hotel is located within a few minutes walking to Paulilation's center and 1-2 minutes' walk from a shop. I could not recommend I Gerani Rossi highly enough. All of our group were incredibly impressed.

The hotel is gorgeous surrounded by trees and the room was very spacious and bright. The service from the staff was exceptional, I never experienced such service. I am lactose intolerant and the staff went out of their way to provide me with lactose free items for the breakfast. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of items. Apart from that, the staff were ready and very happy to help us with any of our requests. One of my best experiences at a hotel, completely recommend this place to anyone!

The place offers the environment to unwind and switch off. It is managed by Valentina and her mother who are welcoming, flexible, helpful and extremely available. We met Antonio, a gentleman who ensures the plants and animals on site are kept in top shape. The accommodation is superb. It is in the middle of nature and very well equipped and decorated. There is much to do while within. One could experiment different forms of cooking , explore nature or simply relax and listen to uncontaminated sounds of birds, cattle or frogs depending on the time. The kids loved the place and were distracted from the virtual world while immersed in nature. They enjoyed the eggs sourced from the chickens on site:). We also had some brilliant night skies full of stars. The style of the accommodation with the stand alone 'Pinnettu' bedroom added to the adventure. The accommodation is central and we could reach many places of interest within an hour or so of driving. Amenities are also within easy reach by car. I cannot but recommend.
