We really enjoyed the steam shower in the bathroom and the luxe toiletries. The pool doesn’t have a lake view, but is quiet and pretty. The breakfast is exceptional.

Alessandra and family were wonderful. Such a charming B&B in Alzo, overlooking Lake Orta. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Alessandra provided a delicious breakfast and was such an accommodating host.

Host and hostess are more than friendly! These are the people you wish all the best! Breakfast was super! Fresh coffee, fresh orange juice hand made. Hostess is making the stay a pleasure. Giving you privacy if needed and trying to setup a conversion if desired. Breakfast table has a very nice view on the lake and island. Parking is easy and enough space. Room is very large and new, including a large shower. Room has a balkon with a very good view on the lake, island and mountains. Room has a flyscreen to keep the windows opened. The room has screens to make it dark. Room has been cleaned every day. House is very nice to see and very tidy. If you are fit the footpath to the village is easy (7min walk).For less fit people it can be quite steep(use good shoes!). The footpath is for residential car movements only and is well lit.

The views of the lake Orta is absolutely stunning. The apartment is well furnished, and exceptionally clean. During the week it was very quite, but in the weekend more people are in the other apartments, and there is a bit more noise, but all very acceptable. The small ‘garden’ and terrace are also very comfortable. The swimming pool is heated and was exceptionally located with stunning views. There are private sunbeds at the pool. Private parking onsite is very pleasant, and although the super markets and stores are not far in terms of driving time, you do need a car to get to the location and the stores.

Authentic cave accommodation in an amazing location. Emilia and his mother the hosts were amazing and made themselves available for any queries. Added bonus of a garage. Lots of extras supplied by the hosts, food, toiletries, cleaning items and towels. Only a slight drop of the comfort score for the comfort of the bed. Very firm. May suit some but I struggled. The beach and outdoor area is beautiful, quiet and the views are spectacular. Highly recommended and I will be back.

The albergo's location and history were wonderful, as was its cleanliness. It is a period piece that easily accommodates today's traveler (though there is understandably no elevator). What we greatly appreciated the most, however, were the courtesy and hospitality of the owner: a gracious and helpful sculptor and art teacher whose family has owned the property for generations.

Super ausgestattete, toll und liebevoll eingerichtete 2-stöckige Eigentumswohnung. Wunderbare Sicht über den Lago d’Orta vom Balkon oder auch von den Dachfenstern des Schlafzimmer aus. Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam.
