Beautiful location on the beach. Individual bamboo huts and air con rooms . Tried both and each has its benefits. Huts are quite open and attract jungle visitors as expected but all part of the experience, just be sure to take precautions against mosi’s. Beds were very comfortable and both huts and rooms have a comfy outdoor seating area. Food was good (buffet style) but maybe an occasional BBQ would have added some variety. Staff are very attentive and reception staff were helpful. Easy to get a Tuk-Tuk just outside the main gate. A few restaurants within walking distance. Sun beds were a bit short on a couple of days. There is an overall chilled vibe which is extremely relaxing. Would recommend.

La atención, dedicación y ayuda del anfitrión Primal para cualquier cosa, incluso antes de llegar al país. Nos consiguió taxi desde el aeropuerto a Talalla más barato que Uber, nos gestionó alquiler de moto a buen precio, nos recomendó lugares para cambiar dinero a buena tasa, nos hicieron la colada, etc. El desayuno exquisito. Las habitaciones limpias y con aire acondicionado que funciona muy bien. La ubicación al lado de la playa, en un entorno muy salvaje, tranquilo, con mucha vegetación y monos. Además, Talalla está en medio de todos los lugares de interés del sur y en moto puedes visitar Koggala, Weligama, Mirisa, Matara, Dickwella, Hiriketiya, etc. Nos ha encantado.

My stay in mango house was very good! You get all the peace and quiet you wish for at a place like talalla. At the same time this very friendly family gives you a clean and comfortable place for a good price, coming along with good food and a good atmosphere to spend your days. I would always come again. Lugar muy bonito y bien cuidado. El jardín y la casa son preciosos. Además estás rodeado de mucha fauna y vegetación que lo hacen un buen lugar de descanso. Isuru, el dueño, muy atento en todo lo que necesitábamos y muy amable. En definitiva, muy buena experiencia en este alojamiento.

Small but very clean room with a small patio looking to the garden. You can watch monkeys, squirrels, birds. Very comfortable bed. Guesthouse is in a quiet location and 2 minutes walk to beautiful Talalla beach. Very friendly owners, very friendly locals. Nelka cooks delicious food and she let me watch her cooking as i wanted to learn how to cook the vegetable curry and dal. I ate almost all my meals there. There are no ATMs or money exchange facilities in the village so Lakshman gave me a ride on his motorbike to Matara to exchange money and look for an ayurvedic medicine I needed. The grandmother is also very sweet. Overall, if you are looking for an authentic Sri Lankan stay, this is the place. I felt like staying with relatives. Sad to leave.

Because we love this place so much we returned for 3 more nights after our yoga-retreat. Immediately we felt like home again. The room has everything we need and is always very clean. The hospitality and awareness of this family is just incredible. Anu remembered our favourite dishes and every day we got a different one for dinner. Same with the breakfast. At the end they even got up in the middle of the night to give us a warm goodbye and a breakfast-parcel that we didn‘t stay hungry at the airport.

The staff is very accommodating and the food is delicious, easy access to the beach a 5min walk from the hotel.
